A Need To Be Held

My Beloved,

On those days when your heart is weighted down by the world, your energy drained, your mind weary and your spirit weak…let me carry you.

In your weakness I may seem far away, but my child, I am always there with you.  It just seems like I am not there because you ceased to communicate.  But I know your heart. I remember the days we talked before and those to come.  A Father understands that His child doesn’t always feel like talking and sometimes a child just needs to be held.

I will hold you.  Your well-being does not depend on every word you say, though your words are important, there is My grace and mercy when I see you need it.  I will not hold it back.

We will share many great victories together, I promise, but on days like this, the victory is in getting through the day knowing I love you even in your weakness.  You will have days of strength, courage and fiery faith, and mixed in will be days of rest where I just hide you under my wings.  But, always I am with you, and always I love you.  That will never change.

Look up, child, and be strengthened and encouraged in the warmth of my love.

Meditate and receive into your heart:

Jude 1:2 (MSG)  Relax, everything’s going to be all right; rest, everything’s coming together; open your hearts, love is on the way!

Psalm 91:4 (NLT)  For He will cover you with His feathers and shelter you under His wings.  His faithful promises are your armor and protection.

Isaiah 41:10 (NLT) Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.  Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my right hand.
